Careful Selection

Our Translator Selection Standards: A 3% Acceptance Rate

Every translator must complete a five-part screening process: experience verification, qualification checks, a blind subject-area assessment, a scored translation test, and a signed confidentiality agreement.

  • ✔ A master's or doctoral degree earned in a country where the translator's native language is spoken, or professional credentials or membership from organizations such as ATA or ITI
  • ✔ At least five years of full-time translation experience in a specialist field, such as law, medicine, semiconductors, or finance
  • ✔ Monthly translation, editing, and proofreading evaluations, with a required quality score above 9.5
  • ✔ Proficiency with translation memory tools such as Trados and memoQ to keep terminology consistent across large projects
